““I have worked with Mark on 2 separate projects - both of them bathroom-related.

Mark took time to understand up-front what we were looking of.  He made recommendations but will also worked hard to incorporate specific requirements we had - however awkward we were!

Mark assembled a great contract team and the final results were of high-to-outstanding quality.

Our first project had a number of gotchas that Mark took in his stride.  Like the other customer references, I can commend Mark’s great communication and his efforts to keep us in the picture at all stages of the project.

Our second project hit an issue that resulted in a leak, discovered a 7pm at night.  One call to Mark and he had given me instructions on how to isolate the leak immediately, within 2 hours he’d got hold of his team of plumber, tiler and dry wall specialist and had co-ordinated them to be on site to resolve first thing the next morning.  By the time I got home from work, you’d never have known there had ever been a problem!

I can thoroughly recommend Mark.  He has a great work ethic, cares about delivering a quality result.  I would definitely use him in the future.”

“Mark is a craftsman.

We met Mark during a remodel of our downstairs four years ago. What impressed us so much was his ability to turn the ideas of what we imagined into complete, finished, beautiful reality throughout the house. From macro views of how people flow through finished space like kitchens and multi-room clusters to detailed joints on the millwork. His attention to detail is extraordinary.
We asked Mark for help when our family expanded and we added a second floor. A big job, he brought in top quality craftsmen for plumbing, tile, millwork, painting...and all the Mark Magic was back. The space is exactly what we wanted, never could have done for ourselves, and feels like it was made exactly for us.

“Mark did a great job with our master bath remodel. This was not an easy project - the entire space was re-configured, the original plumbing was in worse shape than we thought and had to be replaced, and we wound up also remodeling a guest bathroom to leverage the plumbing work.

Mark took great care throughout our project, from design review to recommending materials sources to managing employees and subcontractors. He has an eye for quality and demanded the same high standards from his crew and subs. For every decision we had to make, Mark took the time to carefully walk us through our options and make sure we were fully comfortable.

Not only did Mark bring his A-game to our project, he inspired employees and subs alike to do their best as well. The final result for the two bathrooms is stunning and we couldn’t be happier. I’m happy to recommend Mark and his team and we look forward to our next project.

“We used Mark to do an extensive amount of work on a rental house we own.

Overall, it went absolutely GREAT.  I am so glad I have found Mark’s company.  The upstairs unit he worked on was a total mess.  It was a total renovation of the whole unit.  Unfortunately, I didn’t find Mark until I was over half way done with the project, or he could have done much more of the work for me.  I have 4 rental units and will be using him for years to come..”

“We hired Mark to replace some exterior siding.  He found mistakes made by the builder (we were not surprised) and had to repair the deck on the second level of our house.  The siding and deck job turned out great!

He then installed a beautiful bamboo floor in our living room, dining room and hall as well as replacing the baseboard, window and door moldings in that area.  Looks like a new house!

Mark is very personable and communicates plans well.  He’s always on time and leaves everything clean and tidy at the end of each day.  Tom worked with him for most of these projects and they make a good team.

We would certainly recommend Lion Construction.

“Lion Construction built a custom play area for our daughters, and the results surpassed our expectations. Mark worked with us early in the process to design a forest castle which fits perfectly into the natural surroundings, while striking the balance between the cost of materials and construction with our budget.

Throughout the entire process Mark was immediately responsive when we contacted him, and delivered on the deadlines he scheduled. He also brought a welcomed passion for the uniqueness of the project.

Our daughters love their castle, and we will definitely work with Lion Construction for any future projects.

“Small Job - Good Results!

We had exterior water damage to siding and underlying plywood.  Went to a contractors referral site and Mark (Lion Construction Owner) came by as promised.  He indicated that he could not make a specific bid because of the hidden nature of the problem.  He offered to do the job on a time and material basis and gave us enough information for us to have confidence in his credability.

He came back the following week as promised and tore into the job which turned out to be relatively easy (four foot by eight foot removal and replacement of of siding and plywood plus minor gutter repair)..  He completed repairs the same day (nine hours work plus materials) with excellent results.

We felt he was efficient and honest with good follow-through performance.
